The Premier League 2015/16 fixture table has been released and Arsenal are to face West Ham United at home on the opening day of the season.

Our first fixture against one of the top four teams comes against Chelsea on 19th September at Stamford Bridge, while the next arrives only a couple of weeks later against Manchester United at the Emirates.

We don’t face our first newly promoted team until 17th October when we face Watford FC away.

The first North London Derby happens on the 7th November at the Emirates, while the reverse fixture takes place on 5th March.

Probably the most worrying month will be January. We’ll have just come off the back of a busy winter period, only to be launched into a period of a few weeks where we face Newcastle at home, Liverpool away, Stoke away and Chelsea at home all in a row.

March is also a month where we could potentially drop serious points. We face our Achilles heel, Swansea City, Tottenham Hotspur and – after West Bromich Albion – Everton. Separately, I wouldn’t necessarily say any of these teams are a huge problem but one after the other could prove to be tricky.

We round off what will hopefully be a successful season at home to our FA Cup final rivals Aston Villa.
