Like the rest of you, you probably woke to the ‘news‘ that Barcelona were planning on bidding £50m for Aaron Ramsey.

Leaving aside the fact that they are under a transfer embargo, the EXCLUSIVE in the Sun claimed that they Spanish club had watched Ramsey almost ten times (they should learn about streaming, they could watch him more then) and were planning to try and tempt the Gunners into selling with a massive bid as they look to replace Xavi.

Of course, you only got worried about the whole thing if you have rocks in your head.

Speaking at his press conference on Friday morning, the boss confirmed that he has no worries regarding any player wanting to leave

“All our players want to stay here at Arsenal this summer. I have no concerns at all,” he told the assembled group of reporters.

Unlike in previous years, Arsenal have no need to sell. In fact, they are in a position now where they can repel the advances of any club on the planet.

There are also no fears about Ramsey himself wanting to jump ship. Happy at Arsenal, he knows the club stood by him through his terrible injury and poor form and he’s quite possibly one of the most decent chaps in football.

In short, Barca can do one.
