Arsenal’s form has dipped recently and it’s certainly a concern with the FA Cup on the horizon.

Losing to Swansea and only managing a 0-0 draw with Sunderland after a 1-1 draw with United, the Gunners have spluttered since their top four place was confirmed.

Ahead of the game against West Brom on Sunday, the final league game of the season and penultimate match for the Arsenal team, Arsene Wenegr is hoping his side can sign off in style against Tony Pulis’s men.

“It’s a big warning because we have a home game and we want to finish the job,” Wenger said. “We want to finish on a high at the Emirates and we want our fans to go home happy, full of hope for next season.

“We have fought very hard to directly qualify for the Champions League and we want to get over the line and finish the job, which we couldn’t do on Wednesday night [against Sunderland]. We want to do it in a convincing way on Sunday.

“Will I rest one or two players? Certainly. What is most important for me is for us to win the game on Sunday. We have enough experience in our dressing room to know that what is important is the next competition.”

Arsenal have, technically, sealed an automatic Champions League spot, with an eight-goal swing in goal difference needed on the final day for them to lose third spot.

Blowing their chances of catching City in second, the move up the table coupled by another FA Cup final could see this season classified as a success, especially when you consider how badly hit they were with injuries at the start of the season and how many more games they played compared to United.
