Another week, another bus came an went.

In addition to our extensive pre-match coverage of the game, we got our writers together for a short prediction on how they think the game will pan out.

Here’s how that went:

Lee Hurley Win 2-0

For the love of god Arsenal, it’s not like this is a new thing!

Actually, we created the chances and got behind their bus, but finishing, once again, let us down.

Helen Trantum Draw 0-0

Called it. I don’t like being right though.

We couldn’t have given it any more, and similar to against Swansea, we were better finishing away from getting the win.

Walcott and Wilshere definite positives on the night, but we will need much more clinical finishing than that on 30th May.

Stephen Bradley Draw 0-0

*puts on hat that reads ‘TOLD YOU’*
*shrugs*

Paul Williams Win 2-0

In the spirit of not taking football too seriously, I can only laugh at my confidence that Arsenal would, having not scored a goal in their last two matches, remember where the goal was.

Obviously they couldn’t and didn’t, but at least we didn’t concede one this time. Worrying times, with one game to go before the cup final.

Sylvain Jamet Win 2-0

Frustrating result. I was expecting two goals but being clinical isn’t happening at the moment. At least it wasn’t a defeat like the Swansea game

Lewis Ambrose Win 2-0

I didn’t predict it, but only because it seemed too predictable to happen. Sigh.

Nia Griffiths Win 2-0

Although I missed the match due to attending a Women in Journalism event thanks to the very lovely Women in Football organisation, I’m disappointed to hear we couldn’t beat Sunderland at home. I predicted we’d win it pretty comfortably.

It seems as if it was the same story as against Swansea, where we had a lot of shots without any end product.

Hopefully we get all of this awfulness out of our system before the final!

Mark Fine Win 3-1

What was I thinking. We now look like a team that’s out of synch and too tired to play. One would think that with, what, 30+ attempts something would have gone in. Not this time. But third is all but a mathematical lock coming into the final versus WBA on Sunday.

Anita Sambol Win 1-0

I am angry. Frustrated actually. We had the chances, our play was ‘ok’ but ugh, no goal in three matches at home, what a run up to the game of the season!

Also, Anthony Taylor is a prick.

Charlotte Marshall Win 2-0

Well that was as much fun as a dentist appointment. I worried that if we couldn’t break them down early we would struggle. And struggle we did.

I’m just hoping we are saving our goals for Wembley…
