Quite possibly some of the best football we’ve played this season.

We were unreal in the first half. Our passing was exquisite and we were all over Hull City. When we play like that, we’re almost unbeatable and we proved that today.

Although our intensity dropped in the second half and we conceded – despite Laurent Koscielny being denied a clear free kick seconds before – we never looked in real danger and didn’t stop attacking until the end.

We never gave up, didn’t underestimate Hull and were simply stunning to watch.

Although he didn’t do anything hugely wrong, his decision-making does make me a little nervous. I know his record is superb though, so maybe I should start to have a little more faith.

Hector Bellerin 7.5

He had a solid game, was eager to get forward and almost helped Hull score a wonder-own goal.

Per Mertesacker 7.5

Plenty of interceptions and vital clearances – typical BFG.

Laurent Koscielny 8

Again, made some great clearances and his positioning was almost faultless.

Nacho Monreal 7.5

As is the norm for Monreal, he had a reasonably solid game. At times in the first half he was giving Hull a little too much room but nothing that caused any huge issues.

Francis Coquelin 7.5

Some wayward passes here and there but made up for it with a couple of strong challenges and crucial interceptions.

Santi Cazorla 9

He and Mesut Ozil were at the heart of almost everything. His pass to Aaron Ramsey for the second goal was amazing.

Aaron Ramsey 8.5

He had a great game and it’s great to see him back to his best. His control of the ball for his goal, along with his assist, were mouthwatering.

Mesut Ozil 10

I’ve run out of ways to explain how unreal Ozil is. So, I’ll just give him 10/10 and leave him at that. I might spend the rest of my life replaying the video of him making that pass to Alexis Sanchez in the second half with his heel.

Alexis Sanchez 8.5

He was involved in almost every attack and scored (we’ll ignore the deflection). He definitely seems to have got his mojo back.

Olivier Giroud 7.5

Not Oli’s best game for us but he was still eager to get involved. After the season he’s had so far, going off the boil is bound to happen at some point.

Although he still has a habit of holding onto the ball too long, he didn’t hide and wanted to be involved from the moment he walked on the pitch, which I can’t mark him down for. Jack’s back!

Didn’t really have enough time to do much except annoy Alexis.
