French u20 winger Mylaine Tarrieu has done an interview with the website foudefootball.com in which she reveals her Arsenal dream.

The Lyon youngster has played in last years FIFA u20 World Cup alongside now senior World Cup members Claire Lavogez, Griedge M’Bock Bathy and Kadidiatou Diani.

She performed well in the competition: unused in the first game against Costa Rica, she played 90 minutes against New Zealand, came on as a sub in the 66th minute against Paraguay and scored 11 minutes after checking in into the game for a 3-0 win.

She started the quarter-final game against Korea and played 67 minutes before being subbed. She also started the semi-final against Germany but was injured by a sliding tackle and subbed in the 57th minute.

She subsequently missed the third place play-off game won by France 3-2 against North Korea but came back with a growing reputation.

That injury meant that she missed a huge part of the season and only got one first team game in the French Cup game against Guingamp when she came on the 75th minute and scored ten minutes later in a 6-0 rout.

Her game playing time was very limited up front when she came back from injury as the front three forwards at Lyon have scored 28, 27 and 24 goals respectively in the League in just 20 games.

She lists her strength and weakness as pace and percussion when running with the ball, while defending is her weak point and she is still learning her trade in that respect. Her football role model is Elodie Thomis the quick winger from the French National Team and Ronaldinho in men’s football.

When she was asked about her dream club the Lyon Feminine player said “Arsenal or the US League (the NWSL) “

As Arsenal Ladies do not have a pure right winger at the moment Pedro Losa should get his scouting boots on or send Gilles Grimandi to have a look at the Lyon player as she could be a good asset for the team.
