Unless you’ve been living under a rock, you’ll have heard of Arsenal’s supposed interest in Southampton defensive midfielder, Morgan Schneiderlin.

At Daily Cannon, we’ve been keeping up to date with the developments as they happen since Schneiderlin is a player we could actually do with and seems the most likely purchase we’ll make this summer.

Now, Southampton manager, Ronald Koeman, has refused to rule out the 25-year-old from leaving.

Speaking in his press conference, the manager said, “We like to keep everybody but we know sometimes it’s difficult.” Although he also mentioned there had been no ‘serious bids‘ for the player.

The Frenchman has now featured for Southampton 26 times this season, scoring five goals and seems eager to move away from St. Mary’s before next season.

As I previously mentioned, I believe we have a real chance to sign him, but with Tottenham Hotspur and Manchester United also in the running to get his signature, we’ll have to be quick.

Koeman also mentioned that rightback Nathaniel Clyne could leave but he’s one player we haven’t been linked with yet. Well, at least not regularly.
