Santi Cazorla has said that he thinks Arsenal will sign new players this summer and hopes that means they can challenge in the league.

Speaking at a Q&A session at Puma’s flagship store in London, the Spanish magician revealed that he is hoping to improve in both the Premier League and Champions League next season, also offering a massive sign that he has no intention of going anywhere despite being linked with a number of clubs back in Spain.

Speaking to Arsenalfantv, Santi said when asked if he wanted to stay at Arsenal

“Yes, we want to improve in the Premier League and the Champions League,” Cazorla replied.

“I think if we play how we’ve been playing in the last 10 games then we have a great opportunity.

“I think we’ll sign new players, the team will be very strong and of course we want to win the Premier League and the Champions League.”

Arsene Wenger has already begun his transfer window smoke and mirrors act so it’s hard to gauge what his true intentions are.

With everybody fit, the manager doesn’t need radical alterations to his squad but he’s on the ‘world-class’ bandwagon once again.

Given that the last two summers have seen us sign Mesut Ozil and Alexis Sanchez, I’m happy for him to be on board.
