Hector Bellerin has agreed that, although we’ve had plenty of chances on goal in recent games, our lack of goals themselves, and therefore points, is frustrating.

Although all we need from West Bromich Albion on our home turf this weekend is a point to grab third place, the defender feels we should’ve wrapped it up by now.

“We deserved more than that [on Wednesday]. We created loads of chances in the second half [and] we were just a bit unlucky in front of the goal.”

The young Spaniard also believes we need a win in our final match, not just for the points but to take into the FA Cup final, which he’s likely to feature in.

Speaking recently, he said, “We need a bit of momentum ahead of the FA Cup Final so it is important we get the three points there. Manchester United need to score seven goals. It is a hard job. We should have finished the job [on Wednesday].”

On the 30th May, we have the chance to retain the FA Cup and win a second trophy, a second season on the bounce.

However, with a small dip in form in recent games, the pressure has just ramped up an extra notch.

Hopefully we have our scoring boots on against Aston Villa in the final so we can keep that trophy at its rightful home.
