Time to play Hull for the fourth time in under 12 months. Yippee.

In addition to our extensive pre-match coverage of the game, we’ve gotten our writers together for a short prediction on how they think the game will pan out.

And if you think we’re just going to throw these predictions out there and then forget about them, fear not.

We’ll be back to take a look at how we did and laughing at the person who got it wrong more than anyone else.

Lee Hurley Win 2-0

I’m expecting a straightforward, professional performance against a Hull side who will make it tough as they try to consolidate their league security.

Buoyed by a win over Liverpool, Arsenal should simply have too much for them and I expect significantly fewer heart-attacks than we got during the FA Cup final.

Helen Trantum Win 2-1

Two weeks ago I thought Hull were down, despite sitting a few places above the relegation zone, purely because of their awful run-in which included facing four of the top seven.

As we trek up to the KC, they’ve picked up six points against Crystal Palace and Liverpool – the pressure is entirely back on us as the side that needs to win more.

I think this will be a tough one, especially given the fixture time and date, but we all remember how our only other Monday night game finished this year…2-1 Arsenal.

Stephen Bradley Defeat 1-2

This won’t be easy.

Hull have all the motivation in the world (not out of relegation trouble, losing the cup final to us last year) and we don’t. Yes, third is way more important than fourth because of Champions League qualifier implications, but it wouldn’t be a surprise to the handbrake in full effect here.

Hull 2 Arsenal 1.

Paul Williams Win 2-0

Will it be straight to Hull for the Arsenal on Monday night? I don’t think so.

Chelsea may have been the first team to stop Arsenal scoring since New Year’s Day, but you wouldn’t expect that to disrupt us too much. With a week plus to prepare, the best team of 2015 should have too much for their hosts.

2-0 Arsenal.

Sylvain Jamet Win 2-0

Hull away on a Monday night, more superb scheduling by the FA for the away fans.

With the team currently in third place, a win is a must and against a poor side fighting to avoid relegation, it will not be easy but I fully expect a 2-0 win Sanchez and Koscielny on the scoresheet.

Lewis Ambrose Draw 1-1

A week off, we should be fresh. But we don’t have a huge amount play for as Champions League football is all but confirmed.

Hull are scrapping for safety and beat Liverpool last week.

We could run riot, free of any inhibitions, but I think we might struggle to get going and have a fight on our hands.

Hull 1-1 Arsenal

Nia Griffiths Win 2-0

It may potentially be a cold, wet Monday night in Hull but I reckon we’ll come away with the three points.

After that yawn-fest against Chelsea last weekend, we should be fired up for a good game. We’ll also be well-rested and hopefully up for getting that second spot in the table.

2-0 to Arsenal, I reckon. Olivier Giroud, after being harshly criticised this week, will feel like has has something to prove and get at least one and Aaron Ramsey will get another.

Sean Ferguson Win 3-0

I think we’ll get back to winning ways fairly easily against Hull. I imagine it’ll be the same starting eleven that started against Chelsea which should be far too strong for a weak Hull side.

Although they picked up a big win against Liverpool last week, it shouldn’t have an impact on our game. It’ll be the usual; us controlling possession, trying to break down two banks of four or two banks of five.

I’m confident we’ll find a way through and I reckon it’ll finish 3-0. Giroud with two and Alexis with the other.

Mark Fine Win 2-1

I’m petty sure most people would expect this to be an easy win at Hull for Arsenal on Monday night. The problem is, it’s Hull after the big game with Chelsea, so it may be hard for the players to get started quickly.

It’s also away at Hull, where they scored two goals in a losing effort against ‘boring‘ Chelsea in March.

I think we’ll win. I just think this might be an ugly win and not as easy as people might think: 2-1 to the Arsenal with a late winning goal – just because we seem to like that score for away matches versus that kind of club (Palace, QPR, Newcastle).

Anita Sambol Win 3-0

We need only one win to secure top four and I’m sure this is it. They beat Liverpool in the last round but we are better and had a nice rest after that borefest last weekend.

Think it’s time for Santi to score.

3-0 Arsenal.

Charlotte Marshall Win 2-1

With a really strong squad and over a week’s rest I think Arsenal will be picking up the three points against Hull on Monday night.

I also predict we will make this a lot more difficult than we need to as per usual and win 2-1. Giroud brace.
