Jemma Rose, Jade Bailey and Danielle Carter have been called up for the England u23 squad.

They will play the Nordic Cup in Norway against Sweden, the USA and the hosts, Norway.

Here is the full squad:

Goalkeepers:
Mary Earps (Bristol Academy), Alex Brooks (Manchester City).

Hannah Blundell (Chelsea), Millie Bright (Chelsea), Aoife Mannion (Birmingham City), Martha Harris (Liverpool), Jemma Rose (Arsenal), Meaghan Sargeant (Birmingham City).

Midfielders:

That tournament will be played after the final World Cup list is given to FIFA, those players are likely to be one of the 12 players on stand-by for the World Cup as part of the 35 players provisional list.

The FIFA regulations say “A player listed on the final list may be replaced by a player from the provisional list only in the event of serious injury up until 24 hours before the kick-off of her team’s first match.  That is to say England have until the 8th of June to replace an injured player with a player from the provisonal list.”

England u19 will be playing two friendlies in France in Brou on the 3rd June and Chartres on the 5th June in preparation for the u19 Euro to be played in Israel in July.

A couple of Arsenal players might be involved as you would expect Carla Humphrey to be selected and possibly Leah Williamson if she is fit following her injury in training.
