Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain could be set for surgery this summer on his troublesome groin injury.

The Ox has been out since 9th March with was initially reported to be a hamstring problem but it seems like it is his groin which is causing all the problems once again and he could need to go under the knife to rectify it.

Suffering another setback that will keep him out for at least another two weeks, ruling out him making an appearance in the FA Cup semi-final against Reading, he is officially the only Arsenal player ruled out with an injury.

That’s quite the honour.

The fact that it’s not Abou Diaby is nothing short of remarkable.

Arsenal are attempting to find a resolution to the problem that won’t require him undergoing surgery however it is hoped that he will be able to play some part in the final part of the season.
