Aaron Ramsey is happy to be employed by Arsenal on the right but would prefer to be involved more centrally.

Scoring his fifth goal of the season, Ramsey’s 11th minute strike was the difference between the two sides at Turf Moor on Saturday.

Speaking to Sky Sports and Thierry Henry immediately after the final whistle (and we mean *immediately*) the Welshman said “I’m doing a job out there.

“I like to be involved in the game a lot more in the middle but I’ve had to do a job there. I’ve had a couple of assists and a goal in the last couple of games, so I’m having an impact out there, but I’d like to be more involved in the game.

“This was definitely tough. Lot of big teams have dropped points here, but it was another test we got through. We looked pretty solid, we dealt with their threats ever so well.

“I thought we controlled the game, maybe in the past guilty of trying to go forward and being punished. We defended well, but it was another win and another win away from home.

“It’s been a long time since we’ve had the majority of squad fit and healthy, so it’ll keep people on their toes. Were on a great run so it’s going to be difficult for people to get their places back.”

Grabbing two assists against Liverpool from the same position, it would seem as if Arsene Wenger has faith in his midfielder to occupy that spot when he feels the game is not suitable for Danny Welbeck or Theo Walcott, and, as usual, Ramsey isn’t letting him down.

Admitting it’s not his most natural position, Ramsey is a real team player, however, and I doubt we will hear him grumble about it too much.
