Laurent Koscielny is a doubt ahead of Arsenal’s trip to Burnley on Saturday while Wojcech Szczesny will undergo a test.

The centreback was substituted during Arsenal’s win over Liverpool at the weekend and at the time the manager said that he didn’t think the injury was serious and that still seems to be the case.

Speaking at his press conference on Thursday, Arsene Wenger said “Koscielny will have a test today to see how far we can go. He has a scan yesterday which looked quite good.”

Arsenal have the fewest players in the treatment room at this point than at any other time in the season, a fact that played a massive part in the club’s slow start and their great run at present.

“We had a difficult start this season and we had many players out,” Wenger added. “Since then we have found our cohesion and we have moved forward.”

Szczesny should also be available for selection on Saturday. The goalkeeper picked up a rib injury prior to the Liverpool game but Wenger explained “He has a test today. He has a good chance to be available for Saturday.”

Meanwhile Jack Wilshere, Mikel Arteta, Abou Diaby and Mathieu Debuchy are all available for selection.
