Serge Gnabry played the full 90 minutes for Arsenal’s u21’s on Monday night.

Although the side lost 1-0, the German youngster was perhaps the liveliest player on the pitch as he looks to put his injury nightmare behind him.

“I am feeling good, I’m feeling better and better”, Serge told Arsenal player. “It is my second 90 minutes [in the space of a week, I am playing and over my injury so it is all good and I am looking forward to the next game.”

Serge hasn’t played for the first team since March last season when he faced Bayern Munich. A serious knee injury then ruled him out until the start of this season when a succession of niggles ensured that his first team return was delayed.

Despite the fact that he hasn’t appeared for the first team in so long, he was away with the German u21 side during the last international break, something he said proved to be a good experience.

“It’s good, I have been injured for a long time”, he continued. “I have been away with the young national team for the past few weeks, which was a good experience with a good side so I am looking forward to the Euros so hopefully we can go there and win the title.”

An almost forgotten man, Serge is just another classy and talented player returning to the Arsenal squad making them even stronger.

No biggie.
