Gabriel, Alexis Sanchez and David Ospina could need special permission to play in the FA Cup final as they are expected to join up with their national sides on 29th May.

Scheduled to take part in Copa America, it is unlikely to be a problem as it hard to imagine any national team refusing the request of the players to feature in such a showpiece final which would only delay them joining by a matter of 48 hours.

Of course, it’s not a given that permission would be granted but it’s going to be a brave manager who says no to Arsene Wenger, Arsenal and, more importantly, the player.

Copa America is set to get underway on 11th June giving the players ample time to work with their national sides.

Just another reason to do away with international football altogether if you ask me.
