Only in his first season, Alexis Sanchez has quickly become one of the top players in the Premier League and the Chilean only wants to get better.

There’s no dispute that Alexis has had an incredibly season for the Gunners, netting 22 goals so far and taking the league by storm.

Even during a short period where the 26-year-old went off the boil in terms of goal scoring, he still gave everything for every match and contributed to the team. This is an attribute that Arsenal fans have noticed and appreciated, and now his name rings out from the Emirates weekly.

The fan’s support has not gone unnoticed by the Chilean either. Speaking ahead of the Chelsea match this Sunday, Alexis paid tribute to his singing support, “Supporters here are very cheerful and enlivening, which is a very nice thing.”

He also mentioned how settling in hasn’t been the easiest but he’s adapting well, “It hasn’t been really easy but so far my spell here is a really positive one. I like the city a lot and I feel really comfortable in the club.”

The forward was also quick to praise his teammates, describing them as ‘very kind‘, which has helped him settle into his new life.

When talking about his future at the club, he said, “My goal now is to take Arsenal as high as possible. I am well adapted to the country and the league.”
