With the FA Women’s Cup final set to be played at Wembley Stadium, let’s have a look at the teams who make up the competition.

Arsenal have been drawn away to Millwall Lionesses.

This will be the first competitive game for the ladies and will be played on the 22nd of March 2015.

The draw was made on Monday 9th March (see end of post for full draw).

6 FA WSL – 1 teams

All FA WSL 1 teams enter the competition at round five.

Birmingham City finished third in the League last season.

Bristol Academy finished seventh in the League last season and will compete in the Champions League quarter-finals against Frankfurt at the end of the Month.

Chelsea Ladies finished runner-up in the League last season.

Liverpool Ladies are double league winners (2013&2014)

Manchester City Ladies finished fifth in the League last season

Notts County Ladies finished sixth in the League last season.

5 FA WSL – 2  teams

Aston Villa, who upset WSL1 side Sunderland in Round 3.

Doncaster Belles who finished runners-up last season and close to promotion to WSL 1.

Everton Ladies who enter the competition in Round 5 and were relegated from WSL 1.

Millwall Lionesses who finished eighth in the League last season.

Watford Ladies who finished seventh in the League last season.

4 FA WPL teams

Coventry City are currently top of the FA WPL Northern Division (third level of the women’s football pyramid), they are candidates for promotion to FA WSL2 at the end of the season.

Promotion will be decided by a play-off between the winners of the Northern and Southern Divisions. They upset WSL 2 side Oxford United in Round 3.

Sheffield United are currently second of the FA WPL Northern Division, they have many ex-WSL 1 and WSL 2 players and are also candidates for promotion to WSL 2 at the end of the 2014-15 season.

Charlton Athletic are currently fourth in the FA WPL Southern Division

Tottenham Hotspur are currently fifth in the FA WPL Southern Division
