Semi Ajayi has joined Cardiff City where he will spend the rest of the season on loan.

Ajayi, 21, has been involved with the senior side this season, mostly due to injuries, but has been an frequent member of the u21 side with 10 appearances in the Barclay’s u21 league.

The move, which is still subject to international clearance, will run until May 2nd, sees the player return to the club he made a weird appearance for earlier in the season.

Ajayi turned out for Cardiff’s development side against Coventry at the start of March and is out of contract with Arsenal in the summer.

He also underwent a trial with Sunderland earlier this season.

Picked up on a free from Charlton last season it would seem as if his short time at Arsenal is coming to an end, otherwise you would have to assume a new contract would have already been agreed.
