Alexis Sanchez started for Chile against Brazil at the Emirates on Sunday.

The pointless friendly, which was anything but, was relatively well attended given the fact it was between two national teams in a foreign country.

The game ended 1-0 to Brazil with Alexis the standout player on the pitch but unable to save the game for his country despite playing the full 90 minutes.

Speaking before the match, the Arsenal talisman was gushing about life in England, living where football was invented and his desire to learn more about Arsenal and his teammates.

“I’m well adapted to the country and the league now. I must keep on learning, though,” Alexis told the matchday programme.

“I want to expand my knowledge of English football in general, and Arsenal and my team-mates in particular.

“But overall I love this league. At the end of the day, football was invented in this country, right? I live where football was invented. That makes me really happy.”

Gabriel started the game on the bench once again and was not used by Dunga despite six substitutions being made, which was very disappointing, especially given the location of the game.
