The agent of Alexis Sanchez has caused something of a stir with a tweet.

That’s how it goes these days, don’t ya know?

Retweeting a story which appeared in La Tercera about Arsene Wenger wanting to sign Chilean Charles Aránguiz, people started wondering if Fernado Felicevich was possibly the agent of both players (he is) and if there could be some sort of actual truth to the rumour or if it was just an agent doing what an agent does – trying of raise the profile of his players.

The 25-year-old currently played for Sport Club Internacional in Brazil and it is now being claimed that Arsenal would be willing to pay around £4.4m for the right-sided attacking midfielder (come on, you didn’t think he played any other position, did you?) but his club want an offer over £5m. I can almost smell the ‘stingy Arsenal’ narrative building already.

The report from the Chilean site claims that Wenger has requested to receive regular updates on the player but beyond that, it’s hard to nail anything down as fact with all reports stemming from the one post in Chile and all the excitement coming from the fact that an agent retweeted an article about one of his own players.

he doesn’t half hit a penalty well, though:
