Arsene Wenger met with the press ahead of the NLD this weekend.

The manager, who was quizzed on a wide variety of things, eventually got around to talking about the game against Tottenham and he doesn’t feel as if home advantage means much in this fixture.

Losing just six of his 44 games against Tottenham, the boss can be forgiven for feeling optimistic ahead of this game, especially given the run his side are on –winning the last five in a row and keeping four cleansheets in the process.

As our pre-match coverage showed, this game is a massive deal for everyone involved, something Wenger agreed with.

He told reporters

“In the derbies the home ground is not too significant sometimes because it’s a high commitment, high pace and we just focus on the quality of our game and our performance no matter where we play

 “We’ll do the same tomorrow.

“Of course [the derby is special] because the two teams are fighting very hard to be at the top of the league. It can be a spectacular game.”
