Alexis Sanchez is back, but he’s the only one as Arsenal get ready to face Leicester in the Premier League.

Arsene Wenger met with the press on Monday morning ahead of what is being billed as a chance for the Gunners to get over the disappointment of losing to a small team near Arsenal at the weekend.

Alexis Sanchez

Alexis is due to be included in the squad for the game against Leicester, although it is likely to be on the bench. Wenger told Arsenal.com

“Alexis will be back in the group and we don’t have any injuries from Saturday. Everybody else looked fine yesterday.

“He’s our best goalscorer and one of our hardest-working players in the team. Physically I think we suffered a little bit on some occasions on Saturday and it’s good to have him back.”

Jack Wilshere

Jack has returned to training after surgery to fix the ankle that was damaged by Paddy McNair’s dangerous –and unpunished – tackle. Wenger said

“He’s back in full training this week. I don’t know exactly [how long until he returns], we have to monitor him on a daily basis and see how he develops.”

Alex Oxalde-Chamberlain

The Ox will be out for at least two weeks as he recovers from his persistent groin problem, more on that can be found here.

Mikel Arteta and Mathieu Debuchy

Mathieu Debuchy seems to be recovering well from his dislocated shoulder as he played table football with his brother over the weekend.

He is still some distance away from being ready to play again, however, and, along with Mikel Arteta, is set to be out until April at the earliest.
