Thierry Henry has revealed that he wouldn’t turn down the Arsenal job.

Hands up who saw that coming?

The Arsenal legend, who has made no secret of his desire to return to Arsenal in a full-time capacity one day has, again, reiterated something he has said many times before – that he wants to manage Arsenal.

Henry said

“The thing that I will say is, I don’t know what Arsene wants to do and how long he will stay, I just want to be equipped to be in the position one day maybe to be a manager… Being the manager of Arsenal football club will be a dream but let’s all be honest, I need to learn first, that’s the most important thing.

“It’s not because you know the game that you can teach it and I just want to learn.

“[If Arsene called to offer me a job] I can’t say no to Arsenal so I would say yes!”

The Frenchman has started taking his coaching badges and has returned to Arsenal, albeit temporarily, to coach the youngsters at the Hale end Academy.

Will he make a good manager? It’s impossible to tell.

One thing is for sure, he has the passion to do the job.

Then again, so did Tony Adams.
