All the talk over the past 24 hours has been about nothing else – Arsenal’s FA Cup tie against Manchester United.

Dominating the headlines and everyone’s thoughts, fans everywhere are searching for something, anything, that can help them believe that they can finally end the jinx Manchester United have held over Arsenal recently and knock them out of the competition both clubs have won 11 times.

Speaking to Arsenal.com, Olivier Giroud is sure that Arsenal have what it takes with the return of injured players and the options Arsene Wenger now has at his disposal.

Giroud said

“I’ve scored seven goals in my last 10 appearances, so it’s a good stat for me.

“I feel good and my confidence is high. I want to help the team to win more games and to achieve our targets.

“We have plenty of solutions up front. We are all different, so it’s nice.

“We can find each other really well on the pitch and what’s most important is to keep this movement and this variation in the game.

“It’s a pleasure to play with the boys and I think we are really strong offensively. [We need to] do a great job together defensively as a unit, like we showed at Manchester City, it’s a good idea to do it again and again, especially against big teams.

“We need to be focused on our defensive game, because we know that up front we are always going to create chances to score.”

Of course, before Arsenal travel north for the cup they have to contend with the Premier League and the small matter of the return of the Champions League, something Manchester United don’t have to concern themselves with this season.
