Arsenal have received some good injury news for a change with the announcement that both Aaron Ramsey and Mathieu Flamini will return to training on Saturday.

Ramsey, who tweaked his hamstring, has been out since the 10th February (although it seems like longer) while Flamini has been out with the same injury since the game against Middlesbrough in the FA Cup.

With the news that Jack Wilshere has suffered a setback with his ankle problem that required further surgery, the timing couldn’t be better as Arsenal have missed Ramsey’s leadership and dynamism in the middle of the park.

A willing runner from midfield and a player capable of covering more ground during a match than any other player, his industry and determination could very well have made a difference on Wednesday against Monaco.

With a midweek match against QPR on the horizon, I wouldn’t be surprised to see Rambo return to the squad, if not the starting lineup.

Mathieu Debuchy and Mikel Arteta are both said to be a few weeks away. What that means in the real world is anyone’s guess.
