Arsenal have been given a massive boost ahead of the North London Derby.

With Danny Welbeck included in the squad for the game at White Hart Lane, Gooners everywhere were waiting for news on Alexis who missed out on the rout against Aston Villa with a hamstring problem.

Now, according to reports in the Mirror, it has been revealed that the Chilean talisman will also be fit to be included for what is set to be a massive game.

Welbeck has not played this year, picking up a thigh injury on Boxing Day while Alexis’ body clearly didn’t like being rested as he picked up his tweak after being benched in the FA Cup against Brighton.

Arsenal’s treatment room has never been so quiet with only Jack Wilshere, Mikel Arteta, Mathieu Debuchy, Serge Gnabry, Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain and, of course, permanent treatment room caretaker Abou Diaby, sidelined.

At the time of writing there has been no word on if the Ox has recovered from his persistent groin problem but Jack Wilshere is expected back in training ahead of schedule.
