According to reports in Spain, Getafe will try and tempt Hector Bellerin into joining them on loan for the rest of the season.

The report, which first appeared on El Gol Digital, claims that Arsenal would be willing to allow him to leave.

Excuse me for a minute while I choked on my own laughter.

While Arsenal seemed determined to loan out all their forwards there is absolutely no way that I can see them allowing Bellerin to leave the club on loan.

With Mathieu Debuchy out for another three months, which basically means the rest of the season, sending Bellerin on loan would mean that the club only had Calum Chambers at right back and would diminish their already-depleted defensive reserves even further.

Of course, Arsenal could make me look incredibly stupid by sending him on loan anyway but I fear that would reflect worse on them than it would on me for saying the entire idea is completely ridiculous.
