All the headlines regarding Yaya Sanogo at the minute are going to Bordeaux.

With the French club leading the vocal chase for Arsenal’s young front man, Arsene Wenger has been very insistent that he wants his freebie to go on loan to the Premier League where he can get experience that will help him adapt to playing for Arsenal in the near future.

Despite rumours that are floating round the internet today that there is an agreement in place between the player and the French club, we’re calling ‘balls’ on that mostly because, well, it is.

According to L’Equipe today Lyon, Saint Etienne and Lille also quite fancy a little bit of Sanogo but it will be the Premier League interest that will be catching Arsenal’s attention.

At this point it seems inevitable that Yaya will be leaving for the rest of the season and it’s just a case of where he ends up.

Palace’s interest in the player seems to be the most consistent, even surviving their managerial change and Alan Pardew does, of course, have plenty of experience of working with French players.

A London move might also be the best option as it means the 21 year old will not need to move house as well as club.
