It’s Premier League time again.

From Arsene Wenger’s press conference this week we know that we are unlikely to see Alexis (hammy) and the Ox (groin), but thankfully as the other crocks all gather up a little bit sharpness, they shouldn’t be missed too much for this game against Aston Villa.

After missing last weekend’s game against Brighton in the FA Cup as his wife was giving birth to their second child, David Ospina should return to the starting lineup.

No matter how much Arsene Wenger says that Wojceich Szczesny is impressing in training since being dropped, the Pole looked a little uneasy last week and did nothing to convince any of us that Ooooooooooospina’s run shouldn’t continue. At least for now.

At the back we’ll see Per Mertesacker reunited with his bud, Lolo, while I expect to see, ankle allowing, Hector Bellerin replace Calum Chambers whom referee Anthony Taylor has already sent off this season. Kieran Gibbs should continue on the left.

Midfield and upfront it all comes down to one question – Tomas Rosicky or Mesut Ozil?

Santi Cazorla will retake his starting spot alongside Aaron Ramsey and I expect to see Francis Coquelin starting again when the only other option is Mathieu Flamini.

As Theo Walcott will be on one flank with Olivier Giroud topping us of, all that is left to sort is who plays, well, left?

We’ve opted for Mesut on the basis that Wenger probably won’t want to use Rosicky two games in a row but the manager could just as easily decide to do the same with Mesut given his recent injury problems.

He’s wily like that.
