Hayden undergoes surgery

Issac Hayden has undergone surgery on an ankle problem that has kept him out of the side since November. More on that here.

Loan watch

Yaya Sanogo

Playing 79 minutes for Crystal Palace on his debut for the Eagles, Sanogo had a relatively quiet game and was understandably rusty given his lack of playing time this year.

Did manage to get himself booked and sent one header over the bar but, on the whole, he will be looking to improve – which is the point of his loan really.

Matt Macey

The young keeper made his debut for Accrington Stanley and it will be one he’d rather forget as his side lost 3-0 to Tranmere Rovers.

Jack Jebb

Still recovering from injury, Jebb’s loan with Stevenage has finished and it is not yet clear what Arsenal will do with him next, everything depending on how quickly he recovers from the medial knee ligament injury that he picked up in the middle of December and which initially ruled him our for six-to-eight weeks.

Carl Jenkinson

Jenkinson is really starting to establish himself with the Hammers and played the full 90 minutes as they breezed past Hull with the Arsenal man not finding much about the game too taxing.

He also scored for West Ham in their FA Cup replay penalty shoot-out win against Everton.

Austin Lipman

After missing last week’s game through illness, Lipman was again absent from Boreham Wood’s 5-3 away win over Stevenage in the Hertfordshire Senior Challenge Cup quarter final which took place on Thursday.

Ryo Miyaichi

Ryo played no part in FC Twente’s 1-3 defeat against his former club Feyenoord.

Lukas Podolski

It seems that Lukas Podolski can’t get many chances to play a full 90 minutes for anyone with the German getting substituted after 74 minutes of Inter Milan’s 0-0 draw with Empoli.

Jon Toral

Playing the last 16 minutes of Brentford’s 1-0 win over Arsenal’s weekend FA Cup opponents Brighton & Hove Albion, the Spaniard missed a great chance to double the scoreline.

Josh Vickers

The young keeper played the full 90 for Concord Rangers and despite a couple of impressive saves could not stop his side losing 2-0

Wellington Silva

Playing 71 minutes for Almeria as the lost 3-2 at Valencia, the Brazilian claimed an assist as Tomer Hermed slotted home from Wellington’s pass.

Wellington also played midweek for the Spanish side, getting 62 minutes under his belt as his side lost their Copa del Rey match against Getafe 2-1 on aggregate.
